Located on a quiet, residential street on Knox Mountain in Kelowna is the CPS boy’s unit house. A ten-minute walk will bring you to the Apex Lookout which gives a beautiful view of Kelowna, Okanagan Lake and the surrounding mountains.

The unit began in 2013 with houseparents and four boys. Their volunteer work includes:

• Kelowna General Hospital – Help at information desks; doing the chart run, accompany discharged patients to their vehicles, serve in coffee shop and bistro.
• Kelowna’s Gospel Mission – Pick up donated furniture for the mission’s thrift store. Make and serve supper at the homeless shelter, make breakfasts for the week.
• MCC Thrift Shop – Pick up donated furniture etc.
• Baptist Housing – Sing three evenings a month.
